A recent report from the Times has claimed that two clubs from China are ready to offer £72.1 million to Chelsea for the services of striker Diego Costa.
The reported figure will earn the Blues a substantial profit on the £28.5 million they paid to Atletico Madrid to sign the Brazilian-born striker a couple of years ago.
Football fans, including some Chelsea fans, don’t seem to mind the notorious striker’s exit from Premier League:
can Diego Costa pls move to China I can’t watch him anymore

Diego Costa should be sold to China. He will eat a new player every match and remain happy.

Level with the Zlatan. We either get him or Zlatan in the summer pls. Sell Costa to China for £70m+. https://t.co/OzEnaQEfcL

I love Diego Costa. But turning down €90m would be stupid.

£72 million for Diego Costa would be unreal. Unbelievable player but not 72m good.

For 72m, we could get one of Lukaku/Kane AND have some money to spare. Doubt Diego would move there though.
